Dr Syal didn’t take a moment to look up his iPad and took a grand total of 5 minutes for my appointment. Awful bedside manner. I don’t recommend this doctor
idk i stopped going to this place when they refused to write me a new prescription for birth control until i got a pap smear even though i literally got one the year before and it was normal. plus the doctor i went to was kind of rude anyway so definitely find a different place to go if you’re looking to get adequate birth control treatment
I have been seeing Dr. Everson here for 3 years. I voiced my dissatisfaction with her not listening to a single concern, which was evident when she gave me a wrong prescription dose and refused to change it back to the dose I had been on for the past 3 years (information was, of course, provided 3 days later through her heartless RN). Judy at the clinic called and apologized but provided zero follow up, accept for canceling my future appointment and telling me (in a letter) that I cannot access this clinic or their Houston office. Their reasoning was that they wanted me to be happy with ALL THEIR PROVIDERS and because I was dissatisfied with DR EVERSON, I could NOT SEE ANY OF THEIR DOCTORS. CUSTOMER SERVICE-0 ABILITY TO DELIVER ADEQUATE HEALTHCARE-0
Thank you Dr Rajender Syal and Betty for providing such an inspiring, caring and supportive experience. Your support and dedication are superb. Again thank you so much for everything, Happy Thanksgiving.
I was a patient here for two years and never felt Dr. Everson cared for my concerns. I didn’t switch sooner because I got pregnant and decided to just deal with it. She never listened to my concerns throughout my pregnancy and always passed everything as “oh it’s normal.” Come to find out I had an infection almost my entire pregnancy. It wasn’t until I was 35 weeks and requested thorough testing for the issues I had that we found I had two infections. I knew something was wrong the entire time but wasn’t provided the proper care despite the numerous times I brought it up. With this being my first pregnancy I decided to trust the doctor, which I shouldn’t have. Around that time the office sent out a survey and I expressed my concerns about the infections going untreated, no response of follow up from the office regarding those concerns. I had my baby and my doctor was unavailable so I got lucky and was provided care by Dr. Westmoreland. She did a fantastic job and I appreciate the care, concern and swiftness she provided. I had to have an emergency c-section and she did a great job. Post delivery I had issues with the prescriptions Dr. Everson provided which caused for a very painful few days home without any medication to help relieve the pain. At my 4-week check up the doctor was again very passive. I’ve always felt like i was just another number with no care or concern for my health. I asked what contraceptives I can take to prevent pregnancy. The doctor literally told me “use condoms.” I wasn’t provided additional options to prevent pregnancy. Her reasoning was because I am breast feeding and oral contraceptives can impact milk supply. I went home and did research to find there ARE options. None of those options were provided or prescribed to me at my appointment. Frustrated I called the office and pressed the issue a little harder. Dr. Everson’s nurse said she would speak to the doctor and ask if she would be willing to call out a progestin only oral contraceptive. Ultimately she did but only after I pressed the concern. I called the office to see if it was possible to switch doctors, I feel like they have a good staff I just didn’t like the care this one particular doctor provided. I couldn’t and was told I would need to finish out my postpartum care with my doctor. I was fine with doing so, I don’t hate the doctor I just don’t feel like we were ever on the same page. I had dealt with it my entire pregnancy so it was just one more appointment I could deal with it one more time. The day before my last postpartum appointment one of the office ladies called to tell me the office manager reviewed my chart and they were canceling my last appointment since I didn’t like my doctor and proceeded to tell me to go find another practice. It felt very “Since you don’t like her. Were refusing service to you. Go find someone else. Good luck.” 2 years as a patient and trying to remain optimistic about my experience and the office and I get dropped as a patient during my postpartum care because I expressed my concerns. I never caused any issues just simply stated what I didn’t like. You cannot claim to care for women’s health and then when a concern is expressed drop the patient and tell them to go elsewhere. Given that it’s the end of the year most offices are booked until next year, so I will not be seen until the new year by new office and for that I would highly encourage future patients to find another practice. UPDATE: As a response to the offices comment, yall did not care when I expressed the concerns I had with the doctor during my pregnancy. You continued to see me even though you knew I wasn’t fond of Dr. Everson. I can only assume it’s because you were waiting to collect that bill from my insurance for the birth of my son. But as soon as you got paid, now it’s “go somewhere else.” REAL CONVENIENT. So please miss me with “we want you to be comfortable.” Yeah right. You waited to get paid and then dropped me as a patient.
Receptionist was rude and short with me. Informed me there are no appointments for almost 3 months and asked if I am over 30 because one of the physicians does not accept patients under 30. How is this considered "healthcare" when you can pick an choose who you feel like seeing? Is a woman's health under 30 not important?
Very pleased with my experience with Dr Reilly. She was kind and thorough in discussing my concerns and experiences. Leaving her office, I had a clear plan moving forward with my health and felt confident. This is a large practice with many individuals under their care - and for good reason. It was very busy the morning of my appointment, but everyone was on time and on schedule. Every staff member was kind and knowledgeable. I felt comfortable, knowing I was in great hands.
Doctor Westmoreland is the best OBGYN in the world! This is my second pregnancy and without her I wouldn’t be able to do it. I wish she was a primary doctor haha! I refer allll of my friends to her. She won’t disappoint you!!
I cannot put into words how much I appreciate this place after just one visit but I'll do my best. Being seen by Dr. Reilly was a pleasant and professional experience. She was firm and to the point yet also willing to hear me out on my previous experiences without downplaying the trauma from my previous IUD insertion. Such a breath of fresh air compared to the other OBGYNs I've been to in the past. Plus her nurse Priscilla is fabulous and so kind! She is extremely supportive and empathetic and it made my experience go from perfect to absolutely exceptional. Thank you so much for what you do!
Dr. Rielly is my primary provider and was wonderful walking me through my first pregnancy. Dr. Westmoreland delivered my little one when she decided to show up earlier than anyone expected. Both doctors and staff were all kind, compassionate, and understanding. I highly recommend.
