The front desk was very short and rude to my scared newly pregnant wife.

After having a lapse in our insurance ( this part was of course not their fault) I had to reschedule my appointment with the dr. I called and asked if I could reschedule an appointment and switch drs. The woman asked if I had already seen the dr and before I could finish explaining the situation I was interrupted by her saying it’s a simple yes or no question. I was taken aback with the rude remark and lack of professionalism and tried to give her grace by explaining my situation once again to her where her reply was oh, okay the reason why I ask is if you have seen a dr you can’t change. Understandable, but If she had listened in the first place when I first called and was rudely cut off she would have known I wasn’t able to see any dr yet. She then said this is not the drs fault to which I said I am aware and simply wanted to change to someone who would be a better fit for me. After this back and forth I told them I will be looking elsewhere.

I called looking to set up a new patient appointment with Dr. Everson and was immediately met with rudeness from the receptionist who told me the next available appointment was nearly 10 months out... I then asked if I could schedule with a different doctor for my new patient appointment and schedule with Dr. Everson from that point forward for my annual well woman exam as she is doctor I was given a recommendation for. She told me no and offered no flexibility of allowing me to join a wait list, or to offer something more reasonable than a year out for a new client. I understand the practice and specific doctor may be busy or trying to limit new clients, but if this is the case, then refuse new clients if the next available visit is a calendar year out.

I am calling to ask some questions and it goes to voicemail and tells me to make an account on their website to communicate with them. Why would I make an account when I don’t have answers to basic questions because I can’t speak to someone. This is a big turnoff. They need to fix this. The reviews about the doctors sound good but I don’t need unnecessary stress dealing with poor communication.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. Dr. Westmoreland herself seems like a good doctor, but her office staff has made this experience incredibly stressful. Messages sent through the patient portal rarely get same-day responses, and every concern I brought up was brushed off with, “You can bring it up at your next appointment,” or told that I could “always go to labor and delivery if it was a big concern.” What really upset me was when my MFM specialist and dietician both recommended blood work due to specific symptoms I was having. The staff repeatedly dismissed my concerns as “normal pregnancy symptoms” and only after multiple messages explaining that both specialists were recommending tests did they finally agree to order them. Scheduling is another nightmare — Dr. westmoreland recommended I had my next appointments in about 3 weeks which would include an ultrasound . I booked the appointment for exactly 3 weeks but later realized this day wouldn't work. When I messaged the office just 5 minutes later asking if anything sooner had become available, I was told there were absolutely no openings before that date. No flexibility, no effort to accommodate, and honestly, no compassion from the staff even after explaining that my insurance might be changing. I wasn’t offered to be put in stand by or any kind of list I vas e something opens up , was just told there was absolutely no availability. It’s an awful feeling being 26 weeks pregnant and having to look for a new OB because the office makes you feel ignored and brushed off at every turn. I wouldn’t recommend this practice to anyone who wants to feel heard, supported, or cared for.

Wish I never came here. They are ALWAYS running behind. You will LIVE in the waiting room current an hour past my appointment time. Second time in a row this has happened. I need to find another place.

Looking for a new obgyn and from the get the phone representative she was already rude with and attitude in her voice when I was asking a question about and appointment.did not like the tone.

Dr Westmoreland is the absolute best. She’s sweet, funny, and has always listened to my concerns! Ive been a patient for a few years now. When I got pregnant, I went to another OBGYN because I thought my insurance wasn’t in network with Dr Westmoreland anymore (I was wrong). After visiting the other OBGYN - I was devastated because my standards were set so high by this office. The new office wasn’t even close and had horrible bedside manner compared to what I was used to. In desperation, I called back Dr Westmoreland’s office and asked what my out of pocket cost would be. I was willing to pay anything! That’s when I found out they were in network and I was wrong. I think I literally cried on the phone! LOL I was given so much attention and care throughout my pregnancy. My baby had IUGR. I was sent to a high risk doctor out of an abundance of caution and also saw Dr Westmoreland regularly. I felt so taken care of. I was a hot mess before my planned c section (my nerves were SHOT) - but she made me feel so comfortable & really gave me the words I needed to hear. I’m 4 months PP and I’ll never find another doctor. I drive over an hour now to go here and I can’t ever see that changing! If you’re on the fence about scheduling here. JUST DO IT!

Dr. Westmoreland is the best!
